Dr. Zengli Yu is a professor, doctoral supervisor, discipline leader, director of the Nutrition and Food Hygiene Teaching and Research Section, and leader of the nutrition-related diseases team. Dr. Yu has been awarded honors such as "Top Ten Female Sci-Tech Figures in Zhengzhou City (2023)", "Leading Talents of Scientific and Technological Innovation in the Central Plains (2020)",  "Outstanding Youths in Scientific and Technological Innovation in Henan Province (2014)", "Academic and Technical Leaders in Henan Province (2013)", "Outstanding Talents of the New Century by the Ministry of Education (2009)", and "Scientific and Technological Innovation Talents in Henan Universities (2005)". Dr. Yu has presided over and completed four National Natural Science Foundation of China projects and more than 20 provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects. She has published more than 100 academic papers in international journals, including Environ Res, Environ Pollut, Ecotoxicol Environ Saf, Environ Int, Neurology, Front Immunol and so on. Additionally, she has authored one monograph, translated one book, and co-authored four textbooks. She has also been awarded two second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Henan Province.
