

Wu Yao, male, born in 1962, professor. He graduated from Beijing Medical College with a Bachelor of Medicine degree in 1984, and graduated from Sichuan University with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2005, and went to Texas State University as a visiting scholar in 2012-2013. He is currently engaged in the teaching and scientific research of occupational health and occupational medicine, and his main research direction is occupational respiratory diseases, and he is committed to the research of immunopathogenesis, early warning, prevention and control of pneumoconiosis and occupational lung cancer. He has been awarded a number of National Natural Science Foundation of China and provincial and departmental grants, three second prizes for scientific and technological progress in Henan Province, eight national invention patents, more than 110 academic papers (more than 50 first and corresponding authors), and more than 10 books/teaching materials as the chief editor or co-editor. He has been awarded the honorary titles of Academic and Technical Leader of Henan Provincial Department of Education, Outstanding Teacher of Henan Province, Advanced Individual in Degree Construction and Postgraduate Education of Henan Province, and Advanced Individual in "3-dimension education".
