Dr Pengpeng Wang is a Researcher at Zhengzhou University School of Public Health. His research focused on Occupational or environmental exposure and human health. His research aims to uncover the health risks and toxic mechanisms of pollutants such as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), heavy metals, per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), organophosphorus flame retardants (OPFRs), and organic UV filters by applying environmental epidemiology, health risk assessment, and toxicology. In 2022, Dr. Wang received the "Shanghai Sailing Program" award for outstanding young talent in science and technology from the Science and Technology Commission of Shanghai Municipality. He serves on the editorial boards of the Eco-Environment & Health (EEH) journal and the Frontiers in Public Health journal. Over the past three years, he has published more than 15 papers in influential journals, including Environmental Science & Technology, Environment International, Science of the Total Environment, and JAMA Network Open.
