

Dr. Yuefei Jin primary focus is on emerging viruses, such as enteroviruses and novel coronaviruses. He systematically conducts molecular epidemiological studies, investigates virus-host interactions, and explores the pathogenic mechanisms of viral infections using cellular models, animal models, and population-based epidemiological investigations. He has published articles in prestigious international journals including Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Journal of Biomedical Science, Cellular & Molecular Immunology, Emerging Microbes & Infections, and Journal of Infectious Diseases. With 50 articles published in total, including in the Journal of Biomedical Science, Emerging Microbes & Infections, and Journal of Infectious Diseases among others. His work has garnered 2033 citations with an H-index of 21.
Dr. Jin contributions have been recognized globally as he has been selected as one of the top 2% of the world's top scientists. As a project leader, he has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) and China Postdoctoral Foundation (CPDF), totaling more than 2 million RMB.
