

Dr Jie Lu is a professor of College of Public Health, Zhengzhou University. She obtained BSc from Zhengzhou University (former Henan Medical University) in 1993, MSc and PhD degrees from Zhengzhou University in 2003 and 2007. She was a visiting scholar at York University in Canada. She has mainly focused on health service statistical methods and applications, clinical trial design and evaluation, Prevention and molecular biology of chronic non-communicable diseases.
She has received several awards, such as the 2rd Rank Award, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2014), the 3rd Rank Award, Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award (2015), and others 4 awards. She has published more than 50 papers in international journals with SCI indexed over 30, and participated as vice-editor in the compilation of 2 monographs/textbooks.
She is now standing committee member of Henan Stroke Academic Committee; Member of the Methodology Group of the Clinical Epidemiology and Evidence Based Medicine Branch, Chinese Medical Association; Expert of the Disease Diagnosis Related Grading Group (DRG) of the National Medical Security Medical Management Department; Member of the Pharmacovigilance Committee, Henan Pharmaceutical Association; and Director of the Henan Medical Communication Society.
