主要研究领域为采用先进的医学统计学方法对肥胖及相关慢性非传染性疾病的影响因素研究。提出了SNP单倍型交互作用的分析方法；探索了甲基化单倍型与慢性疾病的关联；采用断点回归分析方法进行慢性疾病的病因学推断。
